Sr. Software QA Analyst
This opportunity is located in Bentonville, Arkansas. We are offering relocation assistance to that area for this position.

We are currently hiring for Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineers in Bentonville, Arkansas and we will be hosting a hiring event in Dallas on March 4th and 5th, 2010. The Sr. Software QA Engineer is responsible for leading multiple QA project teams in support of the software development lifecycle process, change management, testing / QA environments and production releases.
The Sr. Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be accountable for QA practices, testing procedures, meeting IT deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

The Sr. SQA Engineer is expected to be a subject matter expert in project management, or one or more QA speciality area.

Builds and develops QA project teams and processes to support the growth and diversification of the business
Manages day-to-day activities of multiple project teams of QA engineers, sets test strategies, methodologies, and ongoing coverage (priorities, escalation, problem tracking software, processes and tools)

Interacts regularly with managers within Product Management, Software Development, Professional Services and Engineering
Leads the development of all aspects of quality assurance including new product testing, regression testing, automation and load testing.

Designs and implements processes that support the production of rigorous test cases within an agile development environment, and also support rapid execution of regression tests for subsequent releases.

Sets direction for the selection, adoption and effective use of automated testing tools Tests software and performs analysis to ensure that software products meet design specifications and are within limits and standards.
Manage and coordinates activities related with software product releases

Manages all QA project aspects ensuring that QA is the gatekeeper to the production environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly manages employees in the areas of Quality Assurance.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Trains, evaluates, supervises and motivates staff. Is responsible for recruiting, personnel decisions, and day to day team performance management ( planning, assigning, and directing work; setting and evaluating work goals and objectives, and appraising performance)

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 - 10 years experience in a quality assurance testing function, QA Lead or project management related position preferred

Experience as software product developer is a strong plus

Test experience of application developed in one or more of the following: .Net, Java, PL /SQL.

Knowledge of Oracle BI and Web Services is a plus

Proficiency in HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, SharePoint, etc.

Experienced in Performance Testing At least 2-3 year of working experience in with .Net and/or open source testing tools

Experience creating test cases (unit, GUI, UAT and stress), scripts, utilizing automated tools, including defect tracking and source code control (CVS).

Formal software development life-cycle experience.

Requires excellent project management and communication skills

Experience within Agile environment a strong plus

Proven ability to work with 3rd party vendors, as staff augmentation

Certification in Software Quality Assurance

Ability to utilize Automation Tools.

Adaptable and flexible to the work environment, handling multiple tasks concurrently

Certification in Software Quality Assurance

Six Sigma/PMP preferred

EDUCATION
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field is desired. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
